St. Patrick's Cathedral of the Church of Ireland, Armagh, County Armagh, Northern Ireland


English: Stained glass window W11 in the south aisle (third from west in the south wall), created by Clayton & Bell, London, and severely damaged by the blast caused by an IRA bomb at the R.U.C. station on 30 September 1957. The window was erected in memory of Rev. Richard Allott, Precentor. The window presents David (centre light) playing for King Saul (left light) and David as King (right light). Inscription: “In memory of Richard All?? Precentor who died Apl XXI mdccclvii Aged lxxv years”. Allott actually died on 19 April 1858.
