  • The Arnhem War Museum 40-45 is a privately owned museum dedicated to World War II in the Netherlands, specifically in and around Arnhem. The museum was founded in 1994, organized as a foundation, and is located in Schaarsbergen.
The private collection consist of Allied and German weapons, uniforms, equipment, documents, and many non-military objects, such as ration coupons and war newspapers, that provide an impression of daily life from that time. In addition, the museum has several military vehicles and large weapons, including a Russian T-34 tank that is set up in front of the museum, and a number of cannons and howitzers.
A special focus is on "Operation Market Garden" in 1944, where the allied forces tried to take bridge at Arnhem. This airborne attack is one of the most well-known battles of World War II.

Nederlands: Het Arnhems Oorlogsmuseum 40-45 is een particulier museum gewijd aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog, met name in en rond Arnhem. Het museum is opgericht op 24 mei 1994. Het museum is gevestigd in de voormalige School met den Bijbel in Schaarsbergen en georganiseerd als een stichting. Het is niet opgenomen als erkend museum in het museumregister. De kern van de collectie bestaat uit een particuliere verzameling van geallieerde en Duitse wapens, uniformen, documenten en vele niet-militaire voorwerpen, zoals rantsoenbonnen en oorlogskranten, die een indruk geven van het dagelijks leven uit die tijd.
