Description

Charles Holden, 1932. Underground railway station in the Modern style, constructed of concrete, red brick and blue brick, with <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/36844288@N00/4484397703"> Crittall windows</a>. Bright interior with central supporting column. It is thought this design may have been influenced by <a href="http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Stockholm_Library.html" rel="nofollow"> Stockholm City Library (1928 Erik Gunnar Asplund)</a>, which Holden had visited in 1930. Grade II* listed. London Borough of Enfield.
