Summary edit

Description
English: Arriva Guildford & West Surrey 4020 (GN58 BUH), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Dart, in at the end of Well Lane/Arthur's Bridge Road, Woking, Surrey, on route 73. The bus is one of a batch of six, five of which are branded for route 91, with the sixth acting as a spare. Evening journeys on route 28 (and between September 2009 and August 2010 route 73, see Category:Surrey bus route 28 for details), are run between journeys on the evening service on the 91, and are therefore allocated incorrectly route branded buses. The first widespread snow that Britain faced in the early 2010 spell started on the evening of 5 January, which saw some late night bus services pulled off the road. Significant snowfall continued overnight, and by Wednesday 6 January the roads were in chaos, especially as Surrey County Council had only gritted A-roads to preserve salt stocks. Arriva and Countryliner both suspended services completely on Wednesday 6th, and while services began to get back to normal from Thursday 7th, Well Lane still wasn't being served by the daytime service on the Countryliner 73 by Saturday 9th. The first buses to serve the road came in the form of the Arriva-operated evening 73 journeys, which ran as normal on Saturday 9th (although the road at the traffic lights here is on a slight incline here, and while the snow at the stop line had been melted at the time of the photo, further back it was still there, so it took much wheel spinning of the rear wheel drive bus to get it to move!
