| Description |
English: Artillery Passage. A narrow passage in contrast to the vast bulk of the Bishopsgate development which is only a little farther west. This is one of the few places where it is possible to get any idea of the cramped and desperate conditions which predominated in the East End prior to the late nineteetnth century. |
