| Description |
English: Ashchurch station (site/remains), 1995. View NE, towards Worcester, Birmingham etc.: ex-Midland Bristol - Birmingham main line (ahead), former branch from (Birmingham), Barnt Green, Redditch and Evesham coming in on the right. This branch had been closed from Evesham since 9/9/63, from Redditch 1/10/62, and rusty tracks seen here led only to the MoD Depot at Ashchurch. Ashchurch had also been the junction of the branch from Tewkesbury and Great Malvern, and was later rebuilt as 'Ashchurch, for Tewkesbury'. (For further detail see other scenes at Ashchurch). |
