View across The Turnpike (B1113) towards the former Ashwellthorpe railway station as it looks today: the trees seen at right denote the course of the railway line and the stationmaster's house > 1412237 can be seen in the background. The red-brick cottages used to be the porters' cottages. All former railway buildings have since been converted into private dwellings. |
