Description
English: Painting by John Lavery, oil on convas entitled "At Tangier" (Morocco), dated 1892. This painting was painted during the painter's Tangier period. Indeed, in 1891, the painter left for Tangier (Morocco)[2], the opportunity for him to captivate the Moorish essence of Morocco through several paintings of anthropological value, like here, where he brilliantly illustrates the Moroccan Caftan that we find in the painting, painted in emerald green.
