Italiano: La statua era in origine collocata alla sommità del portale della Torre Civica (addossata alla Cattedrale antica, di cui costituiva il campanile), e sarebbe stata colà trasferita intorno al 1292, probabile frammento della primitiva Cattedrale romanica. Dopo la demolizione della Cattedrale (avvenuta nel 1803 per decreto napoleonico), fu trasportata e murata nel luogo ove si trova dal 1815. La tradizione vuole che rappresenti Gagliaudo, astuto contadino eroe dell'epos locale, col carico di una "formaggetta lodigiana" |
