Nederlands: Deze kaart werd vervaardigd ten tijde van de belegering van de stad Sluis door een Nederlands leger onder leiding van Prins Maurits. In de kaart wordt een overzicht gegeven van de

belegeringswerken en de legerkorpsen rondom de stad. In tekst worden deze verschillende posities verklaard. Onderaan de kaart is een stormbrug getekend, een drijvende en overkapte pontonbrug die door de belegeraars werd

gebruikt.
English: This map was produced at the time of the siege of the town of Sluis by a Dutch army led by Prince Maurits. The map provides an overview of the military lines and armies surrounding the town. The text explained their position. At the bottom of the map is a storm bridge, a floating and covered bridge used by the besiegers.
