English: Audlem Bridge (No 78), Shropshire Union Canal, Cheshire This narrow bridge hole leads directly to Lock No 12 (of the flight of fifteen) and a very fierce cross current of water from the lock overflow. Expect to bang your boat :-)
The bridge carries the A525 between Whitchurch and Newcastle-under-Lyne (>A529 off north to Nantwich). |
