English: Site of Audley station, 1999. View NE on road where the ex-North Stafford Railway branch from Harecastle (to left) to Keele (to right) used to cross, Audley station having been on the right. The station had been closed when the passenger service ceased back on 27/4/31, but goods continued until closure of the line on 7/1/63. The Banks pub now dominates. |
