| Description |
Once we have collected the water we need the larger bottles have to be emptied and prepped for the next station. On longer hauls between stops we rinse the CTD with fresh water. On deck, we open the bottles manually with clips, from the dry lab one level up they can remotely trip the bottles to close at the depths they need.
