Summary edit

Description
English: The August La Scola House, 784 Niagara Street at Vermont Street, Buffalo, New York, April 2020. This lovely Italian Renaissance-style residence distinguishes itself with a low-pitched, wide-eaved hip roof of red clay tiles, a C-shaped floor plan presenting two identical wings to the primary façade facing Niagara Street, and casement windows topped with transoms and framed by terra cotta surrounds with decorative corner blocks. The house belonged to Dr. August La Scola, who also had his practice here.
