Français : Présenté au Salon de 1831 sous le titre Portrait du colonel Beauvais Poque, blessé à Rambouillet, le 3 août 1830, avec la description suivante : "Le malade reçoit de sa soeur les soins qu'exige son état. Dans le fond du tableau, sont groupés le drapeau tricolore, le buste du général Lafayette et l'épée d'honneur décernée au colonel par les Béarnais, ses compatriotes, en mémoire de la conduite glorieuse qu'il tint en cette circonstance."
