Summary edit
DescriptionAurora Village Shopping Center, East Aurora, New York - An Homage to the Works of Frank Lloyd Wright - 20190804.jpg |
English: The Aurora Village Shopping Center, at the far west end of the Village of East Aurora, New York. Beginning in 1996, architect Patrick Mahoney of the firm of Lauer-Manguso & Associates supervised the redesign of this shopping center, whose new decorative scheme pays homage to both the work of Frank Lloyd Wright (specifically using his Midway Gardens in Chicago as a model) and the Roycroft Community, both of whom are important presences on the Western New York architectural landscape. |
