Description

Mitarbeiter des archäologischen Landesamtes Schleswig-Holstein auf der Ausgrabungsstelle Fischerstraße auf der Baustelle Schloßstraße in Kiel-Altstadt.

Nach dem Abriss der Gebäuden zwischen der Schloßstraße und der Eggerstedtstraße, der Burgstraße und der Flämische Straße begann der Erdbau, archäologisch begleitet von dem archäologische Landesamt Schleswig-Holstein Dadurch wurden mittelalterliche und renaissancezeitliche Keller mit z.B. Kopfsteinpflaster, Brunnen und Findlingen freigelegt: so u. a. ein Keller des 15. Jahrhunderts und die Kellerreste des Wohnhauses von Meyer Isaak Schiff, dem ersten jüdischen Juristen der 1802 eine Zulassung in Holstein erhielt, in der alten Fischerstraße.
