Description
English: Saigon, South Vietnam. October 1970. Warrant Officer Class 1 Tex Charles of Taroona, Tas, who is clerk of Works (Construction) at Headquarters Australian Forces Vietnam (AFV), seeking directions to a job from a Vietnamese Policeman, is riding the only two-wheeled Australian Army vehicle in Vietnam. The 150cc Vespa scooter is the ideal answer to the Saigon traffic.
