Description
English: The historic scoreboard at Adelaide Oval with Moreton Bay fig trees and St Peters Cathedral in the background. Pretty as a picture. First day of the Test Match between Australia and New Zealand.

Scheduled as a 5-day match, sadly, for cricket fans, it was all over inside 4 days. Even that probably sounds quite long enough for non-cricket aficionados. Australia had a fairly comfortable win. New Zealand was a bit under strength with a fairly inexperienced squad... in a rebuilding phase.
