Description
Nederlands: Sikorsky S55 Salomé in het Aviodrome te Lelystad. In 1953 kreeg de Marine Luchtvaartdienst (MLD) drie van deze toestellen. De Salomé bleef tot 1963 in gebruik bij de MLD. In 1974 schonk het Amerikaanse ministerie van Defensie dit exemplaar aan het Aviodrome. Het bouwjaar is 1953. Het toestel is 12,85 meter lang en 4,06 meter hoog. De rotordiameter is 16,15 meter. De motor is van het type Pratt & Whitney R-1340-3 Wasp met een vermogen van 697 pk. Er is ruimte voor twee bemanningsleden en zeven passagiers.
