"Durante o deslocamento, o comércio das cidades por onde as tropas passavam precisava entregar gêneros alimentícios para sua manutenção. Essas requisições eram tratadas como empréstimo de guerra, pagas então com os bônus do Governo Revolucionário do Brasil, que previam juro anual de 12% e vinham assinados por Miguel Costa e Isidoro Dias Lopes" (Vales,Bônus e Bilhetes – Coleção Santander Brasil, p. 81). |
