DescriptionB26055982D - Orientaliora Indiarum Orientalium cum insulis adjacentibus.jpg |
English: Hand-colored engraved sea chart showing Southeast Asia and partially charted coasts of Australia and New Guinea. Louis Renard obtained De Wit's plates following the latter's death in 1706, and used them for his own Atlas de la Navigation up to 1739. De Wit based the chart on Pieter Goos's Paskaerte zynde t'Oosterdeel ... of 1666. |
