Italiano: Un piccolo pipistrello (Fam. Rhinolophidae) trovato in un gruppo poco numeroso in una particolare grotta in Garfagnana (Grotta di Caterina, Gallicano). È incredibile vedere come il pipistrello, in letargo a testa in giù, riesca a non muoversi per molto tempo. Questo permette all’acqua di condensare sulle ali chiuse formando questo spettacolo di gocce, magari con l'aiuto dei piccoli peli sull'ala e all'alta umidità della grotta. Ovviamente quando stiamo scattando una foto a un pipistrello in letargo dobbiamo fare la massima attenzione a non disturbarlo e se non è possibile è meglio non scattare la foto. English: A little bat (Fam. Rhinolophidae) found in a small group in a particular cave in Garfagnana (Caterina’s Cave, Gallicano). It’s amazing too see how the bat stands upside-down in its hibernation and it doesn’t move for a long time. This lets the water condensate on the closed wings in these spectacular drops, with the help of the little hairs on the wing and the high humidity of the cave. Obviously when we are taking a picture to a bat in hibernation we must pay attention to not disturb it and if this isn’t possible it’s better not to take the picture.
