Description
English: THIS WAS ONE OF 4 PLANTS CONSTRUCTED IN 1917 TO MEET INCREASED WARTIME NEEDS. AN ENTIRE VILLAGE DEVELOPED AND RAILROADS WERE BROUGHT IN TO SERVICE THE PLANTS. PRODUCTION CONTINUED UNTIL 1919 WHEN THE PLANTS SHUT DOWN AND THE BUILDINGS DETERIORATED SO THAT ONLY RUINS ARE NOW PRESENT COMPLETELY COVERED BY VEGETATION.

REF. #06000559; I AM NOT SURE WHAT PICTURES TO SEND FOR THIS SITE. IT IS NOT EASY TO FIND AND THIS SIGN IS THE ONLY THING VISIBLE FROM THE ROAD AND EASY TO MISS. THE RUINS ARE SET BACK AND NOT VISIBLE WITHOUT HIKING AND ARE COMPLETELY COVERED WITH VEGETATION. I AM SENDING THIS PICTURE OF THE SIGN AND 2 OTHERS
