Description

Honckenya peploides (L.) Ehrh. Sea sandwort [Two labels - upper] Decandria Trigynia/ Arenaria peploides/ Sea Sandwort/ [Lower] Arenaria peploides/ Found by Mr Peen/ July 1824/ near the old fort at Yarmouth Dunes Comment;

An original mounted sheet by Robert Pocock. The upper label is complete. There is reason to believe that all of the original Pocock sheets had this style of "header". They were all removed and discarded when the Pocock specimens were remounted. At the moment this is the only surviving original Robert Pocock herbarium sheet.
