7. Oldtimertreffen am 07.07.2012 in Greußen - Ausfahrt zahlreicher Teilnehmer nach Bad Tennstedt. Der BMW 3/15 PS war eine Weiterentwicklung des Modells Dixi 3/15 DA der 1928/29 von BMW übernommenen Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach. Der BMW 3/15 PS war das erste Automobil des bayerischen Fahrzeugherstellers BMW und wurde ebenfalls in Eisenach gefertigt. Die zweitürige Karosserie bestand komplett aus Stahl. Der BMW 3/15 PS wurde von einem wassergekühlten Vierzylindermotor mit 750 Kubikzentimeter Hubraum und 15 PS angetrieben. Es handelt sich im Grunde um einen modifizierten Lizenzbau des seit 1922 in England gefertigten Austin Seven. Bis zum Frühjahr 1932 wurden ca. 16.000 Fahrzeuge verkauft. The BMW 3/15 was BMW's first car, produced in four versions from December 1927 to early 1932. 18,976 BMW 3/15s were manufactured between 1929 and 1932. |
