Oktobers 1981 Material: „Anröchter Dolomit“ = Grünsandstein aus Anröchte Ort: Bonn – Rheinisches Landesmuseum, Bachstraße Zur Skulptur: „Wie von einem Magneten in der Schwebe gehalten, stehen die Gesteinskeile in ihrer blockhaften Schwere einander gegenüber. Die beiden keilförmigen Steinrohlinge sind in jeweils vier Teile gespalten. Ursprünglich als Werk ohne Titel konzipiert, gab der Künstler nach seiner begeisterten Teilnahme an der Demonstration für Frieden am 10. Oktober 1981 in Bonn der Skulptur das Datum dieses Tages als Titel. Das Werk wurde zum Gedenkstein. Die Skulptur stellt sowohl einen wichtigen künstlerischen Akzent vor der Fassade des Altbauteils des Museums an der Bachstraße als auch eine „Erwiderung“ auf Norbert Krickes Plastik vor dem neu gestalteten Museumsbau an der Colmantstraße dar.“ (Rheinisches Landesmuseum) |
