Description
Français : Aciérie d'Avilès, Espagne. Cette usine converti la fonte brute amenée par wagon-poche-tonneau des hauts fourneaux de Gijón. La convertission en acier est assurée par deux convertisseurs à l'oxygène. Cet acier y est ensuite coulé en brames par coulée continue.
English: Steel mill of Avilès, Spain. This factory converts pig iron coming from Gijón blast furnaces. Steel converting is done by two Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOF). The steel is then casted here into slabs by continuous casting.
