Summary edit

Description
English: BP Connect, Vogue Gyratory The garage occupies the site of the former Lewes Road viaduct which carried the Kemp Town branch over Lewes Road between 1869-1971. The eastern portion was demolished in 1975 and the western portion where the garage is now was removed in 1983 as the site along with a nearby pill factory was redeveloped as a supermarket and a one way road system. The Vogue Gyratory was named after a former pornographic cinema which was also removed during this redevelopment, it had been known as Gaiety, Ace and Classic none of which went well with gyratory and neither did the name of the former pill factory, Cox. Taken from Gladstone Place with the entrance to Sainsbury's car park which is one the far side of the garage.
