English: Babylonian cuneiform digits 70 et 11, illustrating the evolution of the curse on Babylon during Sennacherib and Assarhaddon reigns : the former curse was intended to last 70 years during which the city was not supposed to be rebuilt, but by the inversion of the signs the new curse was only of 11 years.
