editDescriptionBack in business, rescue building rescued - geograph.org.uk - 1585778.jpg |
English: Back in business: rescue building rescued The building with the brick tower was formerly a mines rescue station (Granville Colliery, whose landscaped waste heap now supports a dry ski slope, was only a short distance away). Now that coal is no longer mined from deep shafts it has become a business centre, though the To Let sign on the front suggests that at the date of the picture it had not become fully occupied. |
