Deutsch: Gedenktafel am alten Rathausturm in Bad Homburg für die Opfer der Hexenverfolgung , aufgestellt im Juli 2017.
Inschrift: “Gerechtigkeit nach 400 Jahren. Der Hexenverfolgung des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts fielen in Stadt und Amt Homburg weit mehr als 70 Menschen zum Opfer. Dieser Rathausturm war im 14. Jahrhundert Teil der Stadtbefestigung. Zwischen 1603 und 1656 wurden hier die Opfer der Hexenverfolgung bis zu ihrer Hinrichtung festgehalten. In ihrer Resolution vom 1. März 2012 hat die Stadtverordnetenversammlung der Stadt Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe die Verfahren und Verbrennung von Menschen wegen Hexerei verurteilt. Sie werden rehabilitiert, um ihnen Ansehen und Würde wiederzugeben.
