Deutsch: Vierflügliger Hochaltar in der Stadtpfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt (Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld), 1935 von Thomas Buscher begonnen und nach dessen Tod (1937) von A. Weckbecker bis 1939 fertiggestellt. Auf vier Bildtafeln wird die Erschaffung der Erde dargestellt, die Geburt Christi, das letzten Abendmahl und die Sendung des Heiligen Geistes. Überragt wird dies alles von der Majestät der heiligen Dreifaltigkeit, wobei Gott Vater seinen Sohn am Kreuz den Menschen buchstäblich entgegenstreckt.[1] |
