Steam locomotive workshop for 750mm (2ft 5½in) narrow gauge

English: Repair workshop for passenger coaches in 750mm (2ft 5½in) narrow gauge. The cost of this building is 2.8m €. The workshop will be commissioned in spring 2019. The workshop replaces a repair workshop in Freital-Potschappel, from which the coaches had to be carried by Culemeyer road trailer to the railway station.
Deutsch: Instandsetzungshalle für Personenwagen in 750mm-Spur. Die Baukosten betragen 2,8 Mio. €. Die Werkstatt wird im Frühjahr 2019 in Betrieb gehen. Die bisherige Wagenwerkstatt in Freital-Potschappel kann aufgegeben werden. Da seit ungefähr 2000 das Schmalspurgleis zwischen Freital-Potschappel und Hainsberg abgebaut ist, mussten die Personenwagen mit einem Culemeyer-Sattelschlepper der Preßnitztalbahn überführt werden. Dieser aufwendige Transport wird durch die neue Instandsetzungshalle entbehrlich. |
