Summary

edit
Description This is a close-up of the very start (top) and end (bottom) of annularity. The bright patches at the end of the arcs are caused by the sun shining through valleys on the moon's surface and are called Baily's Beads. They would be more clearly visible further from the centreline of the eclipse.
