English: Bake Barn near Chicklade 1. This is the north view of Bake Barn which lies off a farm road that comes up from Chicklade Bottom on the A303 about 1/2km to the south. This stone barn is possibly 17th century though the iron roof is much more recent. See 465182 for a view of the barn from the south. The Bake is the name of a plateau on chalk downland 6km to the east near Chilmark, 875482. |
