This memorial is located at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.

Sergeant RM7784 David (k/a Snowy) BALDWIN. 45 Commando Royal Marines. Born 1928 to John William and Alice Maud Baldwin, nee Birch Died during operations in Cyprus. He, and Marine. David Whitham, were killed on Sunday 13 July 1958 aged 30 in the Karpas Peninsular Cyprus when their patrol landed by helicopter and came under ‘friendly fire’. At rest in Waynes Keep Military Cemetery, Nicosia Cyprus. [Source British Cyprus Memorial Trust Book of Remembrance.] Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Resided at 76 The Harebreakes, Watford, Hertfordshire. Died on date and country stated. His effects went to his widowed mother.

Marine RM16034 Raymond Thomas GREENING. 45 Commando Royal Marines. Born 1939 in Epping Forest to Thomas Burn and Alice Elizabeth Mary Greening, nee Monk Killed in action in an ambush near Sarandi, Cyprus, Monday 6 October 1958 aged 18. At rest in Waynes Keep Military Cemetery, Nicosia Cyprus. [Source: AFM ROH / British Cyprus Memorial Trust Book of Remembrance.] Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Resided at 2 Burrows Cottages, Toot Hill, Ongar, Essex. Died on date and country stated. His effects went Alice Elizabeth Mary Holt, married women.

Marine RM14427 Kenneth LAMB. 45 Commando, Royal Marines. Born 1937 at Dawdon County Durham to William and Sarah Lamb, nee Daglish Died during operations in Cyprus. He was accidentally shot and killed on anti-terrorist operations in the Troodos Mountains during the Cyprus emergency on Saturday 10 March 1956 aged 18. Marine RM15894 Alexander MACDOUGALL. 45 Commando, Royal Marines. Died in a road ambush near Amiados in the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus on Wednesday 22 October 1958 aged 20. Marine RM 9243 Terence ROBERTS. 45 Commando, Royal Marines. Died in an ambush at Pano Amiandos, a village in a densely wooded area of the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus on Monday 5 December 1955 aged 23. Lieutenant David Neville SPURLING. 45 Commando, Royal Marines. Born 1935 John Michael and Penelope Spurling, nee Lovett. Died in a firefight in the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus, after his patrol ran into an EOKA gang on Monday 3 November 1958 aged 23. Laid to rest 11 November 1958 in Hazelbury Bryan Cemetery, Dorset [Source: AFM ROH / British Cyprus Memorial Trust Book of Remembrance.] Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Resided at The Manor, Fifehead Neville Sturminster, Newton, Dorset. Died 3 November 1958 at Prodromas, Cyprus. His effects went to his father John Michael Spurling, retired army Major.

Marine RM 16250 David Glynn WHITHAM. 45 Commando, Royal Marines Born 1939 Leonard and Winifred Annie Witham, nee Jarrett Died during operations in Cyprus. He, and Sgt. David Baldwin, were killed in the Karpas Peninsular when their patrol landed by helicopter and came under ‘friendly fire’ on Sunday 13 July 1958 aged 19.
