English: Balance, Market Street, Omagh John Rowlands' creation for the Environmental Improvement Scheme takes the form of a bronze figurative piece entitled, `Balance'. The piece stands just over 4.2 metres in height and represents the cycle of society, in terms of state and its people, with the theme `one to one - all together now' central to the design. Mr Rowlands' inspiration for this piece is drawn from the objective of the people and the state acting together as one and, by this act, empowering us all to move forward in a renewed sense of celebration of harmony, equality and balance. |
