Summary edit

Description
English: The Hansen Building at Ballard Avenue and Park Place was built in 1905. Its first tenants were the Henry Brothers, Harry and Charles, who ran a saloon and hotel in the building, as well as calling it home. The saloon was later known as the North Star Bar, the ghost ad of which can still be seen on the building's north wall. During prohibition the ground floor became Ballard Laundry which it remained for several decades. It is currently a Filson store on the ground floor with offices above.
