Description |
English: Part of a snowy winter landscape, two bare trees frame the shape of a two-story house. McGraw Ranch. In this 1998 photo, Balm of Gilead trees are seen growing on the east side of the main house. As of cultural landscape documentation completed in 2012, the trees next to the house had been removed. Although some of the historic trees have fallen down, been removed, or died from disease, younger trees of the same species are growing around the landscape. These are not historic, yet the presence of the species on the site is significant.
