English: Baltic Trader and power boat off Berry Head A great variety of commercial and leisure boats can be seen from Berry Head as it overlooks Torbay and the approach to the Dart. The ketch in the photo has a sail number TS K431. She is the former baltic trader "Queen Galadriel" built in Denmark in 1937 named "Else" to sail and later motor around the coasts of Denmark and Norway. She is operated by the Cirdan Sailing Trust as a sail training ship for young people. See http://www.cirdansailing.com/vessels/queen.htm . |
