Every year they celebrate with love all the the hard work each of them had for their produce and giving honor to the watch guards in the fields the Bambanti (scarecrows).

English: Isabela is the biggest province in the Philippines and Agriculture plays a big part of their livelihood. “Bambanti” is the Ilocano term for scarecrow, the watch guards of their fields and farms. Their dedication for producing grains like rice and corns which the staple food in the Philippines calls them to have an annual festival like bambanti to show love and gratitude for all the blessings they harvest. The festival comes with parade, street dances, and each municipality put up booths with giant scarecrows made from real grains and different kind of produce and display their products inside to showcase and sell in the public. And indeed, the people of Isabela never cease to amaze the local and foreign tourist with the love they put into their work
