English: Since the Middle Ages, licorice has been cultivated in Bamberg. Around the middle of the 20th century the cultivation was almost completely stopped. Since 2010 it has been re-grown, with the support of the Bamberger-Süßholz-Gesellschaft.
Deutsch: Seit dem Mittelalter wurde in Bamberg Süßholz angebaut. Um die Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde der Anbau dann fast ganz eingestellt. Seit 2010 wird es, mit Unterstützung der Bamberger-Süßholz-Gesellschaft, wieder angebaut. |
