Summary edit

Description

We have been remiss in providing catgrass, so Gillie has found a substitute.

You can see that the ends of the bamboo leaves are mostly chewed off.

I generally use winter rye for catgrass. Instead of paying $3.00 for a couple ounces of seed, I buy 50 lb for $12. This year we used it all on the field, so I didn't have any left to provide for Gillie. I had to go out and buy a package of the high priced stuff. Nobody carries winter rye at this time of year.

Gillie's worth it.
