| Description |
English: Banc Myherin Banc Myherin is effectively the south west shoulder of Pen y Garn. The west half of the square is hillside incorporating good grazing, plus the forestry stand seen here. The east half is fairly marshy rough grazing. Judging from the 1:25000 map (the 1:50000 isn't too clear here) this was taken just a few yards outside the square. The concrete platform seen in the foreground (which looks like the top of a water tank) is probably on the square boundary; the stream which can just be discerned just beyond it is in the square. |
