English: Looking east over the fountain at Banneker Overlook, part of Benjamin Banneker Park in the Southwest quadrant of Washington, D.C., in the United States. The bridge in the middleground is the Francis Case Memorial Bridge, which carries Interstate-395 (the Southeast-Southwest Freeway) over the Washington Channel to East Potomac Park (and then on to the 14th Street Bridge over the Potomac River). The top of the dome of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial can be seen just over the horizon in the rearground. |
