Description
English: Old technical airport equipment on display in the departure waiting room in the terminal building at Bardufoss Airport in Troms, Norway:
Exhibition of AVINOR equipment: This exhibition shows technical equipment for communication and navigation, as well as instruments and other equipment from the Bardufoss Airport in use after the Second World War until about 1990. Some of the equipment is produced in Germany 1934 – 1945, while some is American, English and Norwegian. Among the telephone equipment is a German field telephone and telephone exchange from around 1940, as well as an instrument for measuring lines between these. The exhibition also shows measuring instruments from before the last world war and up to approx. 1990. The instruments were replaced with new ones as they became available.

Utstilling av utstyr i AVINOR: Denne utstillingen viser teknisk utstyr innen kommunikasjon og navigasjon, samt instrumenter og annet utstyr som har vært i bruk ved Bardufoss Lufthavn etter siste krig og frem til ca 1990. Noe av utstyret er tyskprodusert fra 1934 og frem til 1945, mens noe er amerikansk-, engelsk- og norskprodusert utstyr. Blant telefonutstyr vises en tysk felttelefon og telefonveksler (sentral) fra ca 1940, samt instrument for måling av linjer mellom disse. Utstillingen viser også måleinstrumenter fra før siste verdenskrig og frem til ca. 1990. Instrumentene ble erstattet med nye etter hvert som slike ble tilgjengelige, og i takt med krav til målinger på stadig mer avanserte anlegg bl. a. for navigasjon. Utstillingen er laget etter initiativ av pensjonistene Ola Aarskog og Knut Osa Greger
