Description
Polski: Barkas "Kąt 27" w Muzeum Zalewu Wiślanego w Kątach Rybackich. Zbudowany przed 1945. Wzmocnienia na burcie roboczej. Barkasy służyły do połowów niewodem ciągniętym przez dwie łodzie. Jedna burta barkasa była specjalnie wzmocniona. Napędzane prostokątnym żaglem rejowym na wysokim maszcie. W późniejszych czasach stosowano silnik. Często na jednym barkasie, drugi był holowany.
English: "Kąt 27" - fishing boat "barkas" type in Vistula Lagoon Museum in Kąty Rybackie, Poland. Built before 1945. Barkas was type of boat used on Vistula Lagoon till "70 of XX century. Used for pair-trawling. One side of boat was specially reinforced for working with otehr boat. Formely fittet with high mast and square-rigged sail. Later at least one barkas in pair had diesel engine and towed the other.
