Description
English: Barpeta Naam-Ghar or Barpeta Satra main entrance. The Barpeta Satra located in Barpeta, Assam is a Vaishnavite pilgrimage visited by many devotees in large number during the month of Feb-March when Holi or the festival of colours is celebrated. The Barpeta Satra has three entry gate to enter the main complex, i.e. Uttar Dwaar (north gate), Dakshin Dwaar (south gate) and Dalan (on the west side). Dalan is considered the main entry.
