العربية: قلعة برقوق من الخارج في خانيونس جنوب قطاع غزة، بنيت عام 1387، بتكليف من السلطان برقوق، أحد سلاطين الحقبة المملوكية ومؤسس دولة المماليك البرجية، وأسند المهمة إلى الأمير يونس بن عبدالله النورزي الداودار، وسميت مدينة خان يونس على اسمه.
English: Arabic: Barquq Castle from the outside in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. It was built in 1387, commissioned by Sultan Barquq, one of the sultans of the Mamluk era and founder of the Burj Mamluk state. He assigned the task to Prince Yunus bin Abdullah al-Nurzi al-Dawdar, and the city of Khan Yunis was named after him.
